I would recommend McGilvray to any pet owner. Their service and customer interface is excellent.

It’s a wonderful clinic and my dog is always excited to be there, not scared, which is a testament to how kindly you treat the animals.

This was our first time at the vet with our new kitten. I brought my two children. Not knowing how things are typically done, we were very surprised and uncomfortable to have the kitten taken away to be weighed and examined in the back where we are not welcome. (Would have left the kids at home if I knew they wouldn’t get to see anything.) It would have been helpful for someone to explain in advance that typically all examinations take place in the back where we are not welcome. When I had a pet as a child, we had many vet trips with our cat and I don’t recall ever having the cat taken out of the room to be examined in private. As easy as everything was during our first visit, I’m not sure I am comfortable with pet examinations happening in private. Even though you have been around for years and I know you’re extremely reputable...you’re still strangers to me. Thank you for listening.

My appointment was for grooming. My dog was there too long, she gets very anxious and it took too long. I have been a client for a long time, I would have liked to see it take less time for a grooming appointment.

I m still relatively new to Toronto, and McGilvray, but this is hands down the best clinic I have been to with my pet in his 10+ years. The staff is always so lovely and understanding, and everyone always goes above and beyond expectation. Thank you so much for everything you do for us!

On your survey you have to hit the four star to get it to say five star and if you hit the two star it lights up to three and four stars so Im using an iPhone so I think you have an issue with the survey. In any event I’ve been coming to Mcgilvery it has to be over 50 years and Dr. Gadd looked after me he was amazing and Dr Owen is absolutely amazing as well any other doctors that I’ve seen there when Dr Owen was not there we’re also amazing thank you and wondering how Dr Gadd is doing?

I put my mouse on excellent for all, but nothing happens? Dr. Owen could not have been more pleasant, patient and understanding. We went to Dr. Tate for years and thought the world of him. I believe we are going to feel the same way about Dr. Owen. He was gentle with our newly adopted stray cat; answered our questions; offered advice going forward, and most importantly, made it clear that we could contact him at any time should we have questions/concerns. Already, we cannot imagine our home without Moritz in it. Thank you, Dr. Owen
