I think your vet clinic is great. I would take Moby there and feel confident. I take him to Parkdale Animal Hospital because our cousin is the vet and we get a discount. He does his yearly visits there. For emergencies if its not a 24 hour thing, i take him to your clinic.

I really did not want my older dog to be vaccinated but I forgot to tell the Vet. I wish vaccines did not have to be given to older animals.

I would like to thank everyone for being friendly especially the doctor who took the time to explain several things to us about our kitten. Thank you all!!!

Russ Tate was really great at making you feel like he had all the time in the world. He d take a moment to inquire about other concerns, things that we might forget to ask in a busy practice. I certainly felt that we were well cared for, I m just mad a myself for not asking a few more questions :) Great vets, thank you for such wonderful care over the years. Merry Christmas!

We always receive incredible service however we did have to wait 4 weeks to get our Goldie groomed. Perhaps a second groomer would shorten the wait times.

I’ve been coming to mcgilvray for nearly 40 years because I trust you and value how you provide care to my pets. On this visit however I was disappointed to see what feels like a bit shady. I noticed that the rabies certificate indicated it was only valid for 2 years and not 3 as I have been used to. When I asked I was given a very odd answer that it was actually good for 3 years but clients arent bringing their pets back in time etc... it isn’t the first time I’ve noticed something that looks like a cash grab. I hope this isn’t the case but optics count( let alone immunization with frequent that is unwarranted ). I drive a long way to come there, past many vets along the way as I live downtown. I come there because I trust you, but this is unsettling.

As usual, you guys set the standard as to how to provide veterinary care. We appreciate how incredible you guys are from access to quality of care and everything in between. Thanks, as always.

I trust Dr. Owen totally. He could have reviewed the medical files I had sent over from the previous vet before I arrived but it was 12 pages!

McGilvray s did an excellent job grooming Rookie, especially since we had trouble getting an appt. and he was very bushy and dirty!! Thank you.

We are fairly new to your clinic having made the trek to east end to see a wonderful vet who we love but is retiring. We started to see Dr. Owen on a recommendation. A little scared at first after 15 years and 2 dogs with our previous vet. Dr. Owen, however, did not disappoint. Wonderful. Knowledgeable. Kind. Due to Zoe s emergency medical condition, however, we dealt in part with Dr. Chris. Just wanted to say, she is also amazing! We felt Zoe was in very good hands. She was not only attentive and thorough but very smart through the process of tracking down the root Zoe s mystery ailment. Thank you again. Very grateful for your clinic!

Zorro has been your patient for years. You were feeding our sick dog a chicken based food which you know he is allergic to.You have tested him and know this and yet it was not found in your files.We took him home worse than we left him.Along with his diabetic issues he is now constipated and leaking from his butt.I don’t believe he was better off staying over with you for two nights. He has come home shaking with his issues unresolved.I am very disappointed in the care you gave him,not to mention the $2000 bill. I know you can justify all your tests and had he come home well ,it would not be an issue.However he is not well and worse than before.I am very disappointed in his treatment.This is not the first time mistakes have been made.My dog Nickie went in for a procedure which you forgot to do.I feel we deserve an explanation at least. Dr Marks and staff, Stephanie and Krista are fantastic. I m always reassured when I have to take my dogs to the vet.

I think that I was over charged. It seems unfair to charge for an examination when all the vet did was rub her hands over Charlie s body to check her fat lumps and cysts... and check her anal glads. While the facilities and friendliness are excellent, I am also very concerned about costs.
