I’ve brought one of my cats here a couple-three times now and every time we receive excellent care from everyone on staff — from the front desk folks to the vets and techs in the back. My most recent visit was no exception. Dr. Jolean did a very thorough exam and was able to do some testing for my cat that was convenient, affordable, and quick, putting my mind at ease. I also appreciate the office’s precautions regarding covid. I highly recommend Eugene Animal Hospital, and will of course be returning!

Because of pandemic protocol, I remained in the parking lot. A vet assistant took my two caged cats into the hospital for their exams, shots and tests. I communicated by iPhone with the vet. All very efficient and totally satisfactory.

next time I bring in a New patient I will request a phone consult before billable procedures are done. For an idiopathic inflammation with no tx except nsaids, the bill was 228 which seemed high. I was not expecting more than exam fee plus possible meds, per a similar visit the year before with different cat, different vet.

Maggie likes the veterinarians at the hospital and this visit was no exception. The toenails were very long and they were trimmed to the proper length. And she was returned happy and comforted.

couple of communication glitches: when I got there found out that dog didn t need heartworm test (reason for visit) if he had been taking medication ongoing without interuption, would have been nice to have been informed of that when I made the appointment. Office was closed when I arrived for the appointment so I called and left message with cell phone number and explanation that I was at a meter on the street. When I did not receive call back several minutes after my appointment time I tried calling and couldn t get through for over 10 minutes; was then informed that someone had come out looking for me but couldn t find me. I did not get a call back; wondering why they didn t try to call when they couldn t find me. Person i finally spoke to was pleasant, courteous, provided good info.

They made me stand outside in the smoke( during the terrible fires) and then wouldn’t let me in with my dog for our appointment. Did not disclose this extreme new COVID-19 protocol before I arrived. Dismissed me when my dog didn’t want them taking her inside without me. We are all walking germs to be avoided. The people of Eugene have lost their humanity. This is one of the most unkind, intolerant, and cold cities I’ve lived in. Covid-19 just revealed what was already there. I’ll never be back. To Eugene or this business.

My appointment was at 1:30. I arrived at 1:29 and called into the office as directed. I got a recording that stated the staff was at lunch until 1:30. I left my name and my animals name on the answering machine as well as the fact that I was waiting in the parking lot. It was a very warm day. After 40 minutes of no contact, I approached a staff member and advised her that I had been waiting a long time. She asked if I had called in and I told her I had. After another 20 minutes passed, my animal was taken in. The doctor was great and did come out and speak with me after the exam. She expressed her apology for the delay in getting my animal seen. I guess the staff did not listen to the answering machine after returning from lunch.
