Was unable to reach the office on arrival and then was told I was late to the appointment so I couldn t be seen. After it was confirmed it was an error on the office s side my pet was seen but then when asking about rates for treatment I was brushed off. Not a positive experience.

Advise patrons of cost difference in “nail clipping” appt. don’t assume pet owners know one is $25 and the other is $36. Been coming there for 30 years- always had “nail “ appt. this time offer nail clip or drummel. No mention made of cost difference prior to visit. Always paid $25. Flippant comments made to me by staff. Unappreciated.

Dr Garcia is great! But when I have to call back twice more to ask why my Rx hasn’t been filled after waiting 5 days, only to be told (1) you can’t get the dr because he’s away then (2) you didn’t do blood work when I brought them in 4 weeks prior for their ANNUAL COMPREHENSIVE, that screams very poor service. Do you really not have a protocol for when a dr is away? Every time I call for Rx refills there is an unnecessary delay and I have to call back to ask when the Rx will be ready. EVERY SINGLE TIME! This time the delay was inexcusable. There is no excuse for this degree of poor service.

All of the staff at Reston Animal Hospital are great. They have handled our dog during the pandemic with the same varying professionalism as they did prior to the pandemic. The veterinarians are caring and knowledgeable and come out to speak with us carside and don’t minimize the time with us because car side treatment. Thank you all from us and Reilly.

I would have liked to hear a breakdown of costs before I got the bill (over $500), but I understand that all the costs were justified. BTW, I signed up for emails from RAH but may unsubscribe because it is mostly ads,

The timing for when you email notices of the need for an upcoming annual exam and the opening of timeslots on your online appointment scheduler needs to be adjusted so that they sync up. Currently you email the reminders about 45 days in advance, but you don t have visibility for appointments on your calendar more than 30 days in advance. So either send out the emails later or extend your appointment calendar. It is very frustrating when I get the email but can t schedule the appointment. I have even tried calling when I get the email, but am told to call back within 30 days of needing an appointment. Then when it was within 30 days of needing an appointment, you didn t have any availability when I needed it because your schedule was full. I realize you are losing two vets, so please hire replacements so that you can take appointments. I also think it is time to let your clients enter the building with our pets. It is very hard to convey all of the information needed between the client and vet when you can only talk to the tech in advance and the vet over the phone after the appointment. I feel like I am not getting the value for my visit. It is been two annual visits for my one cat since I have been able to be present for the exam. I am fine if you want to only allow face to face interactions for fully vaccinated individuals. I will happily show my vaccine card in order to be able to interact with the vet face to face.

I understand that there is a shortage of veterinarians in the industry at this time but your costs are too high. It cost more money for an annual exam than myself going to see my physician. $85.00 for an exam? Please.

I always find the staff the best part about coming to the vet, and we were not disappointed! Glad there is a groomer, as we will be making an appointment shortly.

Charges are significant higher than other places. When asked if cytology for ears would be ok. I stated only is absolutely necessary. I was told the ears were fine but they did cytology anyway. An unnecessary charge and disappointing.

It’s time to start allowing pet owners in with their pets and getting face time with the vets. You are the only business around still mandating this silly car visit/drop off. I think not being able to be inside with our pets degrades the quality of the visit by not allowing to see our pet or ask direct follow-up questions.
