My dogs have been patients at The Bloor West Village Animal Hospital since it opened. Excepting for one glitch years ago, I have found the front desk staff to be friendly, helpful and efficient. The veterinarians and veterinary technicians have all been very professional and knowledgeable. The technicians have been good educators around the care of my pets: from post-operative instructions to teeth-brushing technique. The veterinarians are impressive. They have made accurate diagnoses, or when not able to, have consulted one another and/or made appropriate referrals. My last visit with Dr. O’Toole was for a wellness check. Dr. O’Toole was thorough and listened carefully to my concerns and questions. He offered the latest information about vaccines and answered my questions regarding parasitic prevention medications. He took considerable time helping me with my worry around my dog’s weight gain. We were able to come up with a detailed, workable plan to enable me to reduce her weight to a suggested target goal. I feel very comfortable having my pets cared for by the staff at BWV Animal Hospital. They have an up-to-date, clean facility and I appreciate their holistic approach to veterinary care.

Dr. Serena was gentle, thorough, and took the time to explain everything to me. Excellent service!

I cannot speak highly enough of Bloor West Village Animal Hospital. The staff is so lovely, and they re so kind to my dog, Opie. I cannot express how much I like Dr. O Toole. He is very professional, and very down-to-earth. I especially appreciate the way he literally gets down to my dog s level - he ll sit on the floor with him, scratch his ears, and pet him to make him feel comfortable. He basically treats my dog as if it was one of his own. I recommend this vet office to anyone in the area who is looking for a good vet. I ve had a great experience here.

Bloor West Vet is always lovely to deal with. They explain everything in layman s terms. And they answer all of your questions, no matter how ridiculous, because they understand how people (like me) can get about their pets.
