Your online appointment scheduling never loaded for us-for weeks. We left several messages on the phone and multiple times we called we were never able to leave a message. I finally sent an email on Friday and received a call on Saturday in response. This person got us in to see the vet the same day.

It was my first time to have Abbey there for grooming. She looked great and she seemed pleasant when I picked her up. The staff is very helpful to me as I have to use a wheelchair for mobility and they came to my car to get Abbey and brought her to me when I picked her up! I appreciate all your assistance! Was not amused when I asked if he would prescribe the tick and flea preventative to my other 2 dogs and I was told no because they weren’t his patients they go to another doctor there. If the pets are on file it shouldn’t matter who in the facility treats them. It did not at woodland west. My pet apparently had a bug bite on her foot not an allergy like on her back leg or tummy. Never received a follow up call.

We had to call at least 8 times before we got ahold of a real person to make an appointment. We tried to use the patient portal online to schedule an appointment, but it never worked. The vet and tech seemed rushed and did not fully explain what was going to happen with my cat before they began the procedure to remove the hematoma. There was no clear explanation of what the recovery care would be like after my cat’s ear hematoma was drained. After the bandage was removed the following day, my cat’s ear puffed up again. I called the office and got no answer and I left a message on the patient portal and have not gotten a reply. After the visit, I checked the patient portal to see if the vet had prescribed any medicine for my cat and saw that there were ears drops prescribed. The vet had not told me of this or what care was required going forward. I was not given a detailed receipt or the ear drops on my initial visit.

I needed my dog to be in the doggy daycare program because I was having extensive work done at my home and it wasn’t a good environment for my pets. when I called to make the appointment for my dog I was told that it was time for his three year shots. I agreed and dropped him off. I was shocked at the cost for the 3 year shots. I forgot to get a receipt when I was there so I called and asked them to email it to me, when I receive the email I was shocked. I assumed my dog was going to get his rabies and other shots that are needed every three years. but instead he was given the “best care wellness exam” that included an exam by the vet, and bloodwork in addition to his shots...my total was $229. since my veterinarian joined River Trail Animal Hospital it seems like every month you guys figure out a way to take money from your clients by raising prices monthly and giving something that costs more instead of what they ask for. seriously think it’s time to find another veterinary clinic even though I love my veterinarian and she has been my veterinarian for over 15 years. the costs are getting ridiculous.

When I gave one star for staff friendliness, it is in regards to the front desk person who checked me in. She acted as if she did not want to be there and was unfriendly. She does not seem to represent the quality of care River Trail wants to provide to the Tulsa community. Everyone else I interacted with was top-notch (Mitchell, Dr. Roberts, and the person who checked me out).

I specifically asked the check in nurse upon arrival for Maggie’s total bill for her spay procedure, including medicines to take upon discharge. I was told $304. However upon pick up I learn that the procedure itself is $395 and then the costs of the discharge medicines are on top of that. I get that mistakes are made, however this should not happen, especially when she’s using the computer to assist in answering my question. (Obviously withstanding any unforeseen complications that need to be tended to.) I stay here because of my lengthy relationship with Dr. Roddy, but this is not the first time, and I’m at about my end with the lack of transparency regarding the billing procedures.

This visit was good. We love Dr. Copeland. But the receptionist the next day when we came to get meds was awful. I called ahead to get the meds brought out to my car and she said she would. But 15 minutes later nothing. I asked for her to bring the meds out because I had a sleeping baby in the car. But finally I had to wake my kiddo up and go inside. Then I was informed that they didn t have the medicine that I needed at that location and I needed to go to the bixby location. I just stared at her and said okay why didn t you call and tell me any of this?! Or even tell me that you couldn t bring my meds out to the car while I just set out there waiting. I mean I called when I got there!
