Other than surgery if you continue to do curbside let the dog walk out on it own with the leash. I encourage play,praise, hugs and kisses in the office but let him/her walk out on their own. Pet parents are watching the confidence of their pet when they leave the office

I understand that changes have to be made due to Covid 19, but we as customers don’t have any control over this, so I don’t understand why there is an additional Covid fee to take my dog inside the building on your own.

The wait was very long, after the long wait the staff failed to complete all of my dogs needs. Was charged for things that wasn’t performed and then when they offered to complete it at a later date they were only free when it was convenient to them. The actual doctors are great but the staff next to them for the most part is slow and rude. I’ve never left a review to anything in my life and this is my second dog through you guys, but for the amount of money I’m spending i feel somewhat offended. To the point that I’ll be most likely taking my dogs to a new vet.

Dr Adam was great. He relayed all important information and treatments. He even called the next to see how my fur baby was doing.

I approached the door of the building not knowing or being informed that I wasn’t allowed to go in to pick up medicine for my cat a few days ago. A rather moody nurse came out and yelled “HEY do NOT go inside that building”, which was extremely rude seeing as this is a new policy. Without looking at me she walked by and said “you need to call the front desk”.. I did call the front desk (very kind person) who then told Me the total to pick up the meds was $100+ because I had unknowingly signed up for a full medical appt on the phone. In the past I have called many time to speak to the vet, to get advice. I had no idea it was a full $50 appointment without her even seeing my cat in person. It feels this should be discounted. I am considering other vet options because of all of this.

Cannot comment on cleanliness of the office in because it was during the Covid 19 lockdown and curbside service was in effect.

While our appointment was out of the ordinary (curbside), the process was easy and well-explained by staff. It was nice to discuss our concerns and noticings with the vet even though we weren t physically in the room.

Thank you for the easy scheduling and appointment process, especially with all the new protocols related to COVID-19! It was very easy to set up an appointment, bring my dog in, and I enjoyed being able to talk with the vet on the phone and also by email.

During this current world crisis I feel that they are going above and beyond to try and do their best to serve the many animals that are in need of care and I greatly appreciate how they are handling the situation and that their level of care has not changed!

Totally took care of my ferals and appt for unexpected feral issue. Gave a great deal for extra treatment.

I would have like to have known that for each vaccine the clinic requires a wellness visit. My dog had a wellness visit and vaccine in December and was due for other vaccines in March and we had to pay for another check up even though he had not changes and 3 months had passed since his last visit. The check up cost nearly doubled the price of the visit cost and I felt like it was just to earn income for the clinic and not necessary.

I love you guys! You ve done so much to help my dogs and family out, we can t thank you enough! Thank you for caring as much as you do.

Your staff is warm and welcoming. Both of your doctors that we have seen are fantastic. They care about your babies and about your feelings! I would recommend you all in a heartbeat

our dog has special needs with her dog aggression and the stuff are always very cautious and flexible to make her visit a comfortable time.

I was so happy with every staff member I encountered. My dog is very reactive to other dogs and they did their best to make sure we were in and out of the waiting room as quickly as possible. They clearly explained all of his vaccinations, pricing and answered every question I asked. The follow up call was greatly appreciated as well. Thank you all for the great work!

We absolutely love Dr. Alicia & the friendly staff at St. Louis Veterinary Center. The updates to the facility look so nice! We noticed the renovations immediately - huge improvement for the appearance of the center. Dr. Alicia is always amazing with my dog, Macon. She gives us plenty of time, she is very thorough, and she explains the prices/treatment plans and is not pushy on things that aren t necessary. She also is so sweet with Macon (he is a very nervous dog with strangers) and she will actually get on his level - whether he s sitting on my lap or on the floor - and provides excellent care to make him more comfortable. We also love Ms. Tawanda. She is so kind and always remembers her Macon Bacon ! They make us feel very comfortable here and take great care of us. Even though we recently moved farther west of St. Louis, we still do not hesitate to make the drive to St. Louis Vet Center. Thanks for the best care!

The wait time was pretty bad, and it was very bad on my previous visit (around 25 minutes this time and 40 minutes last time). I understand that the doctors are spending adequate time with other patients, but it makes me feel like too many appointments are being scheduled at the same time for what the office can actually accommodate.

I m so tired of arguing with technicians about why I would like to accompany my dog when they take him to the back for blood draws, etc. My dog is very anxious and does a lot better when he can at least see me. The vet tech I worked with completely ignored my request and then acted really ornery and impatient for the rest of the visit, including when I requested to be the one to hold my dog while his claws were trimmed and filed (which went really smoothly because I was holding him). I understand that many procedures are uncomfortable for dogs and that some owners are squeamish, but I am not. I am done backing down on this. Unless my dog is having a major procedure where I am dropping him off, I will be accompanying him at all times.

Our first visit with St. Louis Vet Center was great! The facilities were incredibly clean, the staff was super friendly, and spent as much time with us as needed to answer a whole list of questions!

Everyone was great and very helpful! It was our first time there and we plan on making this our go to vet! Thanks for being so friendly and letting me restrain my own dog for the blood draw and shots. I really appreciate it! I’m a vet assistant so I prefer to restrain him myself and you guys were super easy going about it! Thank you!!!
