I volunteer in rescue and advocate for animals. I have found strays and before finding them an new home, I use your spay/neuter services. I also use the vaccination services. I can not afford to take these animals to my vet for these services, due to the fact that the cost is so much higher, $400.00 and up. I thank you for providing your services. It helps me to help more animals. I live in Lawrence, KS and I am more than willing to drive the hour it takes to get to you. Your staff has always been friendly, knowledgeable, and very compassionate to the animals I bring. I sincerely appreciate everything you do!

This is the only clinic I ve ever brought my Kizzy Moo to and you guys are very much appreciated for all the help you have given us and the lengths you have went to, to ensure my Kizzy is healthy and strong. Ty for bringing her home after her surgery. She is experiencing a speedy recovery and is back to normal ready to be here old playful self. But she has 12 more days yet. Ty again for being for us. My little chihuahua dog was scared to death. She wanted me to hand my dog to her, which my dog was not about to have. Then she wanted to walk my dog in, which my dog was not having either. Then she brought a muzzle that was too small for my dog, and I couldn t get it on him to stay on him. So, she got a towel & wrapped it over my dog s head and took him in. He fought the entire time. He tried and tried to bite her again and again. But she kept fairly calm and finally just hail maryed him with the towel. I will say he made it in and out of your building faster than any other dog I saw go in and out that day. Thank you for putting up with Pedro s bad disposition. He s really a very loving little dog. He is afraid of everything. That s why he acted like a crazy ass. No one but my family has ever handled him. That is his first trip to the vet as far as we know. I wish I could say that next time he will act a little bit better, but I m pretty sure that he will be trying to bite and acting a fool next year too. I apologize for that. He has some very bad dog ways. I was almost sure that you would throw us out from the start. Thank you for getting his shots done despite his fight.

I asked if I needed to make an appointment if my kittens were having drainage and edema in their eyes, were sneezing, and having diarrhea. I was told that they would look at these issues during the appointment I already had…. When the kittens got back to me, I got no information on these issues, and there was no indication they’d even been checked . I called and asked about it.. left a message, and never got a call back…. This has happened twice, now..and I’ve made some kind of decent donations. I don’t think I’ll be back, or be donating any more…

First, I was given the wrong address in Olathe, 1231 E Santa Fe. That is the location where I took my dog last year and had a wonderful experience. This year was not the same experience, and I was disappointed. I only encountered one staff member who I thought was not friendly or very compassionate toward the pets. It was hot that day, so maybe she let the heat get to her. If that’s the case, perhaps she shouldn’t work the Outreach in Olathe. It left me with a bad taste and to not even be able to speak to the vet or ask any questions didn’t seem fair to me or my pet. I have a French Bulldog, so I had some questions. To no avail. Perhaps I should find another business to care for my dog? I want to support Pet Resource, but I’m speechless after my last visit. I feel sorry for us both.

Loved every part of this minus the wait in the parking lot- onnnly because my car has bad AC. I think the booth guy noticed and sent me to the shade asap, which helped a lot! Maybe some additional shade would be helpful tho? Like a sail shade every now and then if that s possible? I was unaware the wait would be outside so also making sure people who do have AC issues like mine can dress appropriate for the wait :)
