Everyone there is always so good with our babies but this past Saturday we waited for over an hour to be seen. We had to go up to the desk to find out there was an emergency with the previous appointment, which we totally understood. The problem we had was that the situation wasn t relayed to us until we asked about our wait time. Better communication was needed in that situation instead of just letting us sit there watching other appointments after us come and go. Aside from this incident, we really do enjoy coming there.

Dr. DeMoor is amazing. I have a very nervous and timid rescue Rottweiler. Dr. DeMoor never rushes her. He waits until she is completely comfortable with him before he assesses her.

This vet is the best. I started going there with my dogs about six months ago. They are kind and very helpful.. The best is the visits are reasonable your not sticker shocked when you go to check out. No more switching vets. We are here to stay!

Dr DeMoor is an excellent vet. He is very accommodating and greets my pets in at a moments notice.

I brought in my cat for vaccines, microchip and evaluation for continued Prozac dosing. I called the morning of my appointment to say that my cat may have eaten a long piece of shoelace. His appointment was at 5pm. When I arrived at my appointment, my cat was very stressed and aggressive. The vet and tech said they got the vaccines and microchip completed in the back room. When I asked the vet about checking for the shoelace and if he needed an xray, she said to take a wait & see approach. Maybe because he was so distressed? I believe some sedation could’ve been given, but I was told no. My cat ended up at the emergency vet the next evening and had to have surgery to remove the shoelace. $7300 that might have been able to be at least reduced if it hadn’t gotten that far down his intestinal tract. Also, the vet tech we had was quite rude during the visit and also said barely anything to me when she brought me out the vaccine paperwork and microchip info. Maybe because my cat was so naughty, and she was not happy with that? Front desk staff was very friendly, helpful and efficient.

Everyone is always so helpful, and really cares about our kitty!

Called on a Monday morning and they got me in by end of day for a UTI on my cat. In and out in 20 minutes. Loved the doctor as well. Straight to the point. Thank you again!

The whole staff is caring and compassionate. I’m glad I bring my boys the them.

I like Dr Demoor. He s very informative and he takes his time to make sure you understand what he is saying. I also like Dr. Cafarini. He was very empathetic and supportive when I had to put my beloved Milo to sleep. Dr Cafarini tried everything but it was just not meant to be.

The his vet visit was the absolute best appointment I’ve had in a very long time. The staff was kind, considerate to my dog. Showing compassion for her when she was scared and in pain. Thank you for the wonderful service.

One hour and 15 minutes in exam room before doctor came in. Seems like this is getting to be normal rather than the exception.

We have had Lockport Animal hospital for at least 25 years and Dr. James DeMoor has been our animal doctor for at least 30 years and he is the greatest Dr. We have had.

Staff was wonderful with midnight, not the easiest patient.

Great visit for nail clipping! Staff suggested waiting outside to get phone call when reception area was quiet and Mina could be taken in without added anxiety. Perfect!

Wait time to see the doctors have been an hour plus passed appointment times the last few times we ve been here. Is this the new norm? I understand things come up and you are busy, but it is a long time to wait with an anxious pet.

It was a very helpful appointment for our pup. The vet and staff were very nice and gave us an update when the waiting time took a long time. A situation happened with another animal but they gave us updates which was helpful!
