Being in a pandemic, it is hard to fully understand the services needed/being provided to my pet. My first experience here was amazing, everything was thoroughly explained to me over the phone. This time, however, I had a total opposite experience. The nurse I spoke to made me feel like a burden because she had to explain things to me due to the doctor being unavailable. Additionally, when I asked a question about how the services are provided compared to my former vet, the nurse responded by laughing and saying, “No that is not how this works.” This made me feel extremely uncomfortable and the nurse made me feel as though I had no idea what I was talking about. Ultimately, because of how this conversation was going, I felt pressured into purchasing services I did not understand, and unfortunately, still do not understand. I decided to take my pet to Best Friends because my prior vet was not transparent on the services they provided and once again, I find myself having the same issues.

The phone vet appointments worked well!

I was very happy with the care of my pet, however I was a bit upset with the way the charges were handled for the visit. When I arrived, I was quoted one price, and I was told that I would be informed and asked for my approval before any additional charges were added. I was never told that my quoted price had changed, so you can imagine my surprise when I got home to look at the invoice in my email and my debit card had been charged 4 times that amount that I was told at the beginning to my visit. With the current restrictions caused by Covid there needs to be better communication with pet owner who are asked to wait in the parking lot about how much they are going to be charged.

We have never had a vet follow up through email with communication. Highly recommend your place to friends & family. Thankyou for taking such great care of our wild child Roscoe.

I moved to Milwaukee but decided I will drive the 1 hour round trip because the care my pets receive is top notch. The staff is friendly and the doctors, especially Dr. Paige are amazing! Keep up the great work!

I would like to meet the doctors and staff at some point. It is difficult to not be there witnessing care, especially knowing that other clinics are offering 1 human to enter and be part of the exam. I would e courage you to lift those restrictions.
