I have taken my dog to two other vet offices in the area when I haven t been able to get an appointment here. The St. James Veterinary Medical Center is affordable, professional, and has caring staff. I am very pleased with our time here. Thank you!

Always a great experience! The only improvement I could suggest is better/quicker response time to customers waiting. But as always, my pets are loved and taken care of by the staff! Greatly appreciated

My visit was curbside so I could not answer questions. I would like to be present when my dogs get their nails trimmed. They are rescue dogs and I think my presence calms them. My mobile vet in Columbia would briefly get on the floor and play with my dogs. Then they were calm for shots and wouldn’t try to bite. Anytime you take the time to put a dog to ease is worth the time.

Dr. Chitwood was so thorough and talked with me about all my questions. He went above and beyond and made recommendations for my other dogs too that have not established care at his clinic yet. He set my puppy up with a good prevention routine too. Thank you so much!

Staff is ALWAYS GREAT!! I drive a little over 45 minutes but this group of people are wonderful! I’ve recommended people to Dr.Chitwood and Dr.Melton and my hairdresser takes her 2 fur babies to them as well and she’s happy that she goes there as well. I will continue to refer! Thank You!

Would really like to see emergency hours.

My appt was a drop off from the parking lot,but the the service was still great. I was a new client. My pet was sick and they worked me in that morning. Jumper and I both thank your staff.

Dr Chitwood is hands down the best vet we have ever used. I recommend him to everyone I know. He truly cares about the animal and they can sense that. He does what’s in the best interest of the pet and that’s what makes him an awesome vet. They all do so much and their hours are fine the way they are. I’m happy to work with the times they have so they really don’t need to open up at other times.

As always it was a great visit with Stephany and Dr. Chitwood. They always reassure me about my pet s health concerns and provide me with a viable treatment plan.

I love how they treat my babies like their own.
