Staff is very quick and efficient from the start to end. I did not have to wait long to drop my dog off and also picking my dog up. Dr. Fady is very knowledgeable and kind and will answer any questions I had. Even after a leg procedure for my dog Dr.Fady was very kind to have carried my dog into the car for me and explained instructions very clear as well as a set of instructions he gave me that was very clear as well. Receptionist was also great. This is my first time experiencing having my dog needing a pretty major surgery and I was quite anxious and called asking for an update and the receptionist kindly gave me an update with great customer service. Although there was a receptionist when I called beforehand trying to schedule the surgery a few days before who seemed kind of eager to get off the phone with me and hung up quite fast but overall the receptionist that did help me in person was very kind and nice. Overall I give this place a 5/5.

Very pleased with your care of Gizmo; he seems fine, but still scratching some, but it s only been 2 - 3 hrs. since his app t. I hope the scratching will be less tomorrow, after the medication takes effect. I think he had a good experience there, seemed calm & happy. Should I continue giving him the Claritin (pills crushed & mixed into hi food?) Thanks. Suzzanne

This was our first trip here. I was completely enamored of the care we received at Ocean Avenue Vet Hospital. Despite how busy it was, I felt as if my dog was the ONLY one there. I admit, as a new pup parent, I was extremely skeptical about not being allowed to accompany my new fur baby in during COVID. But I felt completely at ease and appreciated the time everyone took to answer ALL of my questions, assuring me it was my time. A few areas of opportunity: 1. Discussed flea preventative treatment with tech and vet, but it was overlooked and I didn t get it. 2. Prescribed and paid for probiotics, but it was missing from bag of meds (it was refunded). 3. In addition to a sick visit, my pup was also being seen for post-op spaying. I got home and the sutures were still in place. When I called, I was informed that the vet wanted to keep them in place for an extended period of time, and I needed a follow-up visit. But this was not relayed to me at the time of my visit. However, I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a vet for their loved pet.

Everything was perfect :) Only suggest is a bigger clear sign at the doors explaining how to call you and tell you were here. I felt bad walking in as I didn’t notice the sign!:)

Dr. Fetti was amazing and took the time to address the symptom, procedure for fixing it and all our questions in between - all of this gave us comfort and peace about our dog’s surgery.

No one said hello as they walked by several times after the text check in. I was charged an additional service fee of $15 so I could stand outside in the rain. Bill was not explained and no one confirmed what service my dog needed or had.

We would have really appreciated an opportunity to speak directly with the vet treating our animal, and have been afforded that opportunity at previous veterinary practices even during COVID-19, but we were otherwise pleased with the visit.
