Great care, great staff and super fast appt

Our beloved 10 yr old family dog, Duke was having symptoms of bowel obstruction. No eating for days and getting weaker. He was seen same day and thoroughly evaluated. Fortunately, he is much better following rehydration and other treatment. So helpful to be taken care of same day.

I was a little disappointed today to learn that senior bloodwork was not done on Snow. Also, I had wanted both cats to get all shots due them this time...but now the bill says Murrlin is still due for a FVRCP-C 3 year in July and I had asked when I scheduled the apptmt if it was ok for him to get it early and was told yes. It s not easy for me to get there and I was hoping to get Murrlin and Snow taken care of now and then the other two cats in June, but now it looks like I need to bring Snow and Murrlin back. I want to make sure the various levels we ve been watching Snow for (being 18) were still ok. Otherwise it was all fine. I m sure if I could be there in person with the cats, these misunderstandings would not have happened.

Things are tough all over and I understand, but I was on hold for a pretty long time when I called to say that I was outside. Otherwise, all good. Betsy enjoyed here visit.

I’d love it if vets would do exams via zoom. Not being in the room is too weird and feel like some issues are easier to discuss as the exam happens.

My ten year old rescued lab was choking, in pain and gagging. I’m 73, frantic and a total mess. I’ve called my vet and can’t be seen; I call another vet and same answer. Meanwhile my dog is digging at her mouth. I call your office but you have the emergency vet number on your answering machine! Thanks. Headed to them but it’s scary having a dog choking while driving. So I pull ‘rudely’ into your driveway expecting to be yelled at. Instead, Kind, reassuring, wonderful care of me and Valentine. Thanks! Paula Stout

Overall a very positive experience!

I had a wonderful experience bringing both of my pets in on Tuesday. Service time and quality of care were both incredible and the staff was lovely. I won’t be taking my furry friends anywhere else. Thank you so much for such amazing vet care.

My 3 star isn’t because of something the clinic did, just days available are my days out of town on the road. 5-Stars overall

Hard to answer last question with curbside pickup. I think the services provided by Eugene Animal Hospital are excellent.

I had a 10:00 appointment, waited outside in the cold till 10:14, was told my appointment was at 9:45, that is why I had to wait. So not true. I was told that at my doctors office, the wait is longer then 14 minutes, not true, Sharron Flynn with Oregon Medical Group sees me always within 5 minutes. Was told the 14 minutes is not a big deal, this is a hospital and we are busy. Was given a stool sample kit with no instructions in it, didn t get enough poop and had to come back. Been a customer for a long time, own 2 service businesses for 47 years within a block, not happy. Did talk to Dr Judy and vented. She was great. Also. as Sheba gets old, I called about 2 weeks ago to be taken off the reminder emails and that didn t happen. Dang. Oh, I m also a business councilor for SCORE for 15 years as a volenteer so know something about business

We love the Eugene Animal Hospital. Great staff and we love Dr. Morrison. Thank you for taking care of our pets with outstanding care.

Unable to go inside the office due to COVID restrictious, but curbside pickup and discussion worked well.

Question #3 - Due to Covid protocols, I really didn t have much time with the provider...in hind sight I wish I had more time to ask questions. However, it s not EAH s fault, it s just the curbside pick up doesn t promote lots of one on one time. The staff was amazing, and Dr. Polk was so nice. thank you all !
