I had a scheduled appt. and the staff came approx 10 minutes after my time and took my dog back. I waited approx. 25 minutes and then I asked what was happening with my dog. One of the girls told me that the dr was in emergency surgery and another dr was seeing my dog. The dr called me and I saw him they the window hand the new girl, Laura my paperwork and my Visa. She got on the phone, the other staff were talking. After 10 minutes I rang the doorbell to ask where my dog was and one of the staff looked right at me and walked away. Where is the customer service???? I was upset at that point and rang the doorbell again and told the girl that came to the door that I wanted my dog NOW. They could keep talking but it wasn’t fair that my dog stays in a cage or room while they Keep talking. I trained my staff that the customer standing in front of you was the important one, not the person that called in while I was waiting. Maybe ask that customer to wait until you finish with the customer whose been waiting. This isn’t the first time this has happened. I stand outside waiting for my dog so I can see everything. Very disappointed with the service considering the price and the fact that you haven’t opened your office.

the vet should NOT be so high and mighty, so arrogant. I don t need an attitude when I need to decide between paying my bills or paying exorbitant vet fees. When the vet wants another $640 to keep your dog one extra night to monitor and hydrate him you may need to look for another vet, like I did

This place is awesome. I had an emergency and they were the most helpful and responsive. They did and continue to take good care of my dog and that means the world to me. I will never forget what this staff did for me and my dog. Terrible situation I am in but they sure make things better.

I brought my bird in and had to pay for an office visit on top of the cost of the trim of beak, wings, and nails. $104 I have never even seen the vet and never had any feedback on the health of my pet.

I took my bird last Friday for a general check up. Turns out, my bird needs 2 injections for parasites. After that, I took him home, where he was just sleepy and didn t want to eat by himself. I was so worried, so I waited until the next day. Maybe it was just a side effect of the shots. The next day, he was just sleeping all day and I had to force feed him in order for him to eat. I was worried and I called back again to see what was wrong with him. The receptionist said that it is not normal for my bird to act like this. Unfortunately, they don t have any avian doctors available. So I was panicking and I called some of the avian vets around and they said it might be the side effects of the shots. I was so confused as to why the doctor did not warn me that there would be a side effect from the shots since it is a small bird. I m still confused until now. He was normal before the shots and he was running around and eating a lot, and now he s just sleepier and not eating as much. I wish the doctor could tell me more details and I wish the receptionist could be more helpful like other avian vets that I called and they did ask or do some research on it.

Great service and doctor goes out of her way to explain things well, staff is very friendly and professional. I really like this place the only criticism would be the wait times, I think it took about 30-45 to be seen with an appointment but I understand this is during a pandemic so there s understanding as to excessive wait times due to staff shortage and/or covid protocols.

It would be nice to see the Doctor face to face. I don t know about the facilities as I have Never been through the front door.l Don t know the staff. They just come get my dog. Call on my phone and bring my dog back. Never spent time with anyone as they are always inside and we are not welcome in.

I love Alta Rancho! In fact, I love it so much that I drive 40 minutes to get there! Doctors are caring. I feel like they have my dogs best interest at heart. I ve seen Dr. Henderson, Dr. Shoulder, and Dr. Diaz and all of them have been great! The office staff are friendly, helpful, and prompt.
